We’re a group of carpenters who’ve spent decades getting sawdust in our coffee and splinters in our thumbs, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Between us, we’ve built everything from custom kitchen cabinets to timber frame homes, restored century-old furniture, and taught countless apprentices the difference between a mortise and a tenon. We started this blog because we got tired of seeing the same recycled advice online and wanted to share what actually works in the workshop—the techniques we’ve refined through years of mistakes, the tools we trust enough to lend out, and the shortcuts that aren’t really shortcuts at all.
